“The best thing about my parent coaching was Kim helping me understand that it was OK for me to feel the way I feel, to not feel ashamed of or hide those feelings. As a result things are a lot easier with the children, I’m much better able to recognise what I need and tell them how I feel without blaming anyone or trying to change them. Consequently they seem to have realised that I have feelings too and now my two teenagers describe our relationship as ‘cool’!”.

The FIRO-B Psychometric Tool
(Fundamental Interpersonal Relationship Orientation - Behaviours in case you were wondering)
Maybe you've heard of it and have little idea what it is; or maybe you've never heard of it; maybe you know quite a bit and want to understand how you relate to others. Whatever prompted you to come here, we are qualified to offer you the FIRO-B psychometric tool.
The FIRO-B is deigned to offer you an insight into the behaviours you exhibit when you're relating to others. It's most helpful when used in conjunction with Myers-Briggs but can be used alone. It will help you understand:
How often and how widely you initiate inclusive, controlling and affectionate behaviours; and
How often and how widely you want to receive inclusive, controlling and affectionate behaviours from others.
There are no right or wrong answers - simply the opportunity for insight, learning, reflection and personal development.
If you want to know more about FIRO-B please contact us.
